| This head has been designed to accept sample holders for
X-ray scattering or absorbance experiments. It is designed as a holder that accept the thin capillaries used for X-rays. This special head replaces the standard observation head of the SFM-300/400 or µSFM-20 stopped-flow systems. It can also be mounted on the former versions SFM-3 and SFM-4. In case of difficult bench space, this head can also be mounted at the end of the umbillical link (PDF file) that allow a mechanical separation between the main body of the stopped-flow and the observation head. The X-ray head retains all the other specification of the standard observation head :
